LCA TV: WattStopper’s Isole Plug Load Controls
This short video, produced by the Lighting Controls Association at the 2011 LIGHTFAIR event, introduces the building industry to WattStopper’s Isolé plug load control product line. This controller provides a convenient way for building managers to prevent wasted energy from a wide variety of electrical devices in private and modular offices. Isolé couples a personal occupancy sensor with a surge-protected power strip to turn off unneeded devices when a space is vacant while also protecting expensive equipment. It is the only occupancy-based plug load controller available.
Leviton GreenMAX Lighting Control System Awarded Product of the Year from Consulting-Specifying Engineer Magazine
Leviton recently announced its GreenMAX Relay Control Panels were chosen by Consulting-Specifying Engineer (CSE) magazine as the Best Product of the Year for lighting control products.
The GreenMAX family of relay control panels affords an industry-leading short circuit current rating (SCCR) of 25,000 Amps (at 277 VAC) for maximum service life, robust latching modules for incandescent and fluorescent loads, integrated dimming and switching capabilities along with daylighting – all in one energy-smart, cost-effective lighting management solution.

WTDCL Time Controller Takes Universal’s DCL To New Level
DCL Control Systems are now even easier to use, thanks to the new WTDCL Time Controller from Universal Lighting Technologies. With this user-friendly device, all programming, including basic configuration of the DCL system, is achieved by front-panel keystrokes. No computer or special commissioning tools are required.
By communicating with DEMANDflex high-efficiency ballasts over existing power lines, DCL eliminates the need for expensive re-wiring in existing buildings, and it lowers the time and expense of new construction. And now, the WTDCL Time Controller adds a new dimension of flexibility and simplicity in programming.
Acuity Brands Introduces Lithonia Lighting VTLED Luminaires With Embedded nLight Technology
Acuity Brands is expanding its indoor ambient LED lighting offering with the launch of the Lithonia Lighting VTLED volumetric luminaire with embedded with nLight™ lighting control technology. VTLED is a high-quality, volumetric LED fixture designed for general purpose applications. They join the RTLED, ACLED and TLED recessed LED luminaires that launched last year.
New WattStopper Digital Photosensors Allow Unprecedented Control Flexibility And Easy Integration With Occupancy Sensors
WattStopper has launched two powerful daylighting sensors that allow engineers, building owners and installers unprecedented options when designing, purchasing and implementing daylight harvesting systems. The new LMLS-400 and LMLS-500 may be used for switching or dimming applications, and are specifically designed for easy integration with occupancy sensors and other lighting controls. Both digital photosensors include a two-way infrared (IR) transceiver for communication with a wireless configuration tool, and the LMLS-400 features automatic commissioning for either switching or dimming, an industry first. By developing both open and closed loop control solutions for a full range of dimming and switching control strategies, WattStopper now offers the most complete and most flexible range of daylighting control options on the market.

Leviton’s SECTOR Intelligent Ballasts
Leviton’s SECTOR™ Intelligent Ballast and Lighting Control System combines several energy-saving technologies–occupancy sensing, daylight harvesting and dimming–into one conveniently integrated system. This topology free system uses the same wiring type for all SECTOR™ components and accessories making it one of the easiest lighting control systems to install. To further simplify installation, all components are on a single bus, with accessories connected to the network, not the ballast. The SECTOR™ family of products provides a scalable solution that offers maximum flexibility and maximum coverage in any application–from a single room to a campus of buildings.
