Featured Webinar: Show Me the Data: Who Is Responsible for Connected Lighting Energy Data Accuracy?

03/03/2020 by Lighting Controls Association Leave a Comment

At 12:00 PM ET on March 5, 2020, the Illuminating Engineering Society will host a free webinar on the topic, “Who is responsible for lighting energy data accuracy?”

The webinar will be presented by Michael Poplawski, a senior engineer at PNNL, and Jason Tuenge, a lighting engineer at PNNL.

Here’s the IES description for the webinar:

There is growing interest in sharing energy data from data-producing devices, but the value of that data is often dependent on the level of accuracy needed for a specific use case. Manufacturers of data-producing devices, as well as end-users with particularly stringent needs, may need to validate or characterize the reporting accuracy of these devices. This webinar will provide guidance for the calibration of energy-measuring devices, including a specification template and an overview of the few laboratories that are accredited to perform such calibrations in the U.S.

Webinar participants are eligible for one (1) IES Continuing Education Unit (CEU).
