Leviton recently announced the acquisition of Viscor, Canada’s largest independent lighting manufacturer, which specializes in LED lighting for architectural, commercial, medical, institutional and industrial applications.
Established in 1952, Viscor is a family-owned company with more than 150 product families, 300 employees, and a 200,000 square-foot facility.
According to Leviton, the acquisition deepens the company’s portfolio of lighting options, while the Viscor portfolio will benefit from enhanced access to Leviton’s lighting control options.
