Lighting Controls Association Supports NLCAA Certification

Several Education Express online courses offered by the Lighting Controls Association are now required as prerequisites for National Lighting Contractors Association of America (NLCAA) certification and training of Acceptance Test Technicians in the State of California.

The following courses must be completed:

EE101 – 10 NLCAA points
EE102 – Occupancy sensors – 10 points
EE102 – panels – 10 points
EE103 – dimming controls part 1 – 10 points
EE103 – dimming controls part 2 – 10 points
EE105 – lighting control system design, each of the four parts get 10 points each
EE110 – commissioning – 10 points
EE201 – each of the three parts get 10 points each

Total = 130 NLCAA points

Certificates of Completion for these courses, totaling 130 NLCAA points, are earned by taking the course and passing the associated online exams with a 70+% passing grade. These certificates must be collected and presented to NLCAA as proof of attendance.
