WattStopper has published a technical bulletin describing how the company’s 0-10VDC dimming controls, including selected Digital Lighting Management (DLM) room controllers, wallbox dimmers and daylighting controllers, use an industry standard control protocol in order to control compatible ballasts and other devices such as LED drivers.
The bulletin reviews how this low voltage “sinking” control method was developed, how it works and how it differs from 0-10VDC “sourcing” control.
