The article above considers valuable and important points so thanks for sharing. However, why no reference to the only global interoperable intelligent LED light fixture communication standard, DALI, IEC 62386?
For sure you can use BACnet and LonWorks but why would you, when you can connect networks of DALI LED fixtures directly to your BMS/BAS/BACS/BEMS platforms?
Finally not mention of interoperability which is surely key to ultimate flexibility and choice for the End User?
